This is the latest version, the file download includes a Windows installer program that will create a folder and place the spreadsheet in that folder. It will also create a shortcut to the spreadsheet on your desktop. The spreadsheets alone without the installer can be found here which includes both versions.

Project History and Progress
-
This project started with the first official release published as the 2001 version though I first created it in 2000 when my wife joined Weight Watchers. I also created a web site with full details about how it worked and screen captures of the various worksheets thinking other Weight Watchers members may find it useful and helpful in their weight loss goals. Upon suggestion of others, I made a few changes on the 2002 version and removed the words Weight Watchers from the title hearing that the legal vultures at WW were probably circling overhead ready to swoop down at any moment. Well, that didn't work, with a cease and desist order in my hands I released the 2003 version removing all reference to Weight Watchers, POINTS, and Journal replacing it with the words Meal Tracker and Stars. That satisfied the big law firm in New York City. In 2003 I also modified the spreadsheet to work with the FLEX program and maintained both versions, FLEX and Winning Points. The 2005 FLEX version was a design I never published which only my wife and I used. In the 2006 version I added Weight Watchers back in the title and only gave the file to those who asked via email. That was the last Winning Points version update. From then on, I focused solely on the FLEX version and released the 2007 FLEX version adding the Recipe Calculator worksheet to the workbook instead of a separate file and updated the Points Allowance to work with the newest FLEX program. That is the version I have had posted online since July 2007 in a low key way, no big web site detailing it like I used to, just a one sentence blurb with a download link for my own use. A quick Google search will find various versions of my spreadsheet still online including several that users have modified and even a German translation version.
The 2008 FLEX version was major update to the MS Excel spreadsheets for the Weight Watchers FLEX POINTS System, many new features have been added. Some of which include the ability to search the database not only from the database worksheet but from the daily worksheets. I added a weight loss chart and graph. I added the ability to transfer food item information, i.e., servings size, calories, fiber, etc, from the database to the daily worksheets by simply entering a corresponding number listed in the database onto the daily worksheet. You can now easily transfer the per serving values of a recipe to the Database for saving. There is also a popup window Quick Points calculator accessible from any worksheet in the workbook. A custom Excel toolbar has also been added. In addition, many other small changes have been made. The 2009 Version #1 included some minor changes and updates.
New versions of the spreadsheets are posted as needed reflecting both minor and major updates or changes.
This Weight Watchers Excel spreadsheet will work Office 2007. What needs to be done is this, create a folder, maybe inside your My Documents folder and place the spreadsheet in this folder. Start Excel and go to Excel's Trust Center, then Trusted Locations, and add the folder you just created to the trusted locations list. Close Excel, restart and open the spreadsheet and it will work fine including the built in macros.
